Daddy is a goofball

Figured I'd waste a little more time this rainy Friday afternoon by posting some silly pics of me and Mishka...

"Awe look, it's a little baby, can we keep her?!?!!?"

I really can't explain my facial expression other than I'd just had some ice cream and might have been experiencing a major sugar high...moving on...

"Ohhh, what's in here...BABY!!!!"
One of Daddy's new favorite hobbies is staring at his sleeping child while she's dreaming...sounds kinda boring (and borderline creepy) but it's actually quite a fun way to spend your time, and there is NOTHING boring about lil' Mishka :)

Daddy singing to his baby...worked so well that Mishka sang along, screaming into Daddy's ear...hopefully the hearing returns sometime soon. :)

This pretty much sums up how the week has gone...Daddy needs a vacation, maybe in a few weeks, just not right yet :)

Okay, that's it for today, have a great weekend!

Temporary relief for Mishka

So, what do you do when lil' Mishka, who has decided that it's better to now eat every hour and a half, practices all her new fussy whining ability for a 30 hour plus period straight and doesn't really seem to want to stop showing her parents, as seen here:

The answer was tragically simple...bring in Aunt Suzie!

Yup, it took Mishka about 20 seconds to calm down after flailing and fussing most of the morning, afternoon and evening with Mommy and Daddy...with Aunt Suzie she was on her best behavior. So naturally Tasha and I kidnapped Suzie and have her chained to the bassonette to play with Mishka at all times!!!

Hehehe. :)

Date night!!!

A few pics from last Friday night's date night...thank you to Meg and Caleb for the pictures and for hanging out with Mishka, she totally loved it! :)

It's spit up on Aunt Meg time, woohoo!!!

Chillin' with Uncle Caleb

YEAH BABYSITTING!!!!!

The parental units getting ready to hit the town...notice the relief and happiness touched up with exhaustion and need for full body massages :)

action shot...

Hello legions of Mishka bloggers! I figured I'd aim to post a little something prior to me going into lock down study mode, also figured rather than give another Mishka sleeping shot we would go with an eyes wide open pic. If you can't read her lips, Mishka is saying "look Daddy, I can chew on my fingers, pick my nose and scratch my eye ALL AT THE SAME TIME!!!" Which lead to Daddy putting down the camera and clipping Mishka's nails...:)

More a little later today during a study break!

Daddy's girls

This is what Daddy gets to come home to everyday...how lucky am I?!?!?!?!?!?!

:)

Hello cute-ness!

On the move!!!!!

Look out peoples...Mishka is MOBILE and on the go!!!!!
:)

Mishka was so excited to have gone out for ice cream she yawned (not seen here...here she's doing her favorite thing in sleeping...her daddy's favorite hobby too!)

Mishka's other new favorite past time is to ride the Daddy-swing as seen here! Aunt Kim is proving to be sage-like in highly insisting that Mommy and Daddy get lil' Mishka a swing...Daddy's shoulders are starting to get a wee bit tired ;)

Hmmm, where to go with this pic... 1) "Raise the roof ya'll!!!!!", 2) "Red Sox win, Red Sox win, YEAH!!!!" 3) "Hey everyone, smell my armpits!" 4) "High-five's all around!" 5) "I give up, don't shoot!" 6) "Hey everyone, let's do some yoga, get those arms above your heads..." 7) "Hey Mommy, look at my impression of a banana!"

That's enough for now.

Check out my strawberry hat!!!

Here's Mishka sporting a very fashionable, springy number with her new strawberry hat! Thank you to Aunt Abby for making this cute little hat...as Mishka tries on her new wardrobe, I'll try to post the fashion pics :)

T'was an uneventful busy weekend which saw Mishka practicing her spit-upping and random crying fits at various times in the 24 hour time span. Thankfully she is still thriving...and getting out in public a bit more often (pics to come)
Mom is doing good, feeling much better physically (and, I might add as well, she looks FABULOUS!) and is just such a patient, caring mommy and wife. The old man is in the process of balancing school life with home life during exam time...if you happen to see my brain zipping by, feel free to direct it my way...thanks ;)
